Baepi Dyasi Attorneys is an innovative black women-owned boutique law firm based in Johannesburg. We offer tailor-made legal services to individuals, the private and public sector. In addition to providing specific legal advice to clients, we want to be a trusted business partner.
At Baepi Dyasi Attorneys we strive to assist our clients to create strategies that enable them to efficiently comply with the ever-changing South African regulatory landscape. We have a combined experience of 17 years in corporate law, banking and financial services law, litigation, as well as strategic regulatory advice and advocacy. With our experience, we can walk our clients through their unique journeys and offer innovative solutions.
Our vision is to be a leading black women-owned law firm that provides a platform for primarily women legal practitioners to pursue their careers within the legal industry.
Meet The Team
Ayanda Baepi
Ayanda graduated with an LLB from the University of Pretoria, and has obtained an LLM: Banking Law from the University of Johannesburg. She is a mother and entrepreneur with a keen interest in business, informing her ability to assist and collaborate with different clients from different sectors. With over 14 years’ experience, Ayanda has worked in the banking and financial regulatory industry, specialising in litigation, dispute resolution, regulatory oversight, monitoring and management.
She has been recognised for her performance and contributions to the success of businesses within the banking and financial sector. She has chaired committees, contributed to governance and regulatory oversight, and has trained in Corporate Governance, Anti-Money Laundering, Risk & Compliance, Interpretation of Statutes and the drafting and interpretation
of contracts.
Chwayita Dyasi
Chwayita is an admitted attorney who graduated with an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 2015.
She served her articles at Macrobert Attorneys where she gained experience in Personal Injury, Corporate Litigation and Property Law. Chwayita sharpened her drafting and litigation skills, and successfully moved applications before the Magistrate’s Court in debt collection matters.
Chwayita has her finger on the pulse on the ever-changing regulatory landscape, which informs her perspective on providing strategic advice to clients.
